"Breakthrough in European Ship- and Shipbuilding Technology"
Within this EU-funded project all large European shipyards, their suppliers and research organisations investigate how the efficiency of modern passenger cruisers and ferries can be increased. Analysed is the production and the operation of the ships concerning energy saving, environmental care, cost reduction and increase of security and comfort for the passengers.
Future-Shape’s task within the project is the development of scenarios in which the SensFloor technology is applied to meet these goals. At the premises of project partner MEYER Werft in Papenburg, Germany, Future-Shape installs demonstrators for passenger counting, intelligent automatic door control, emergency guidance and for space-saving entertainment systems.
