SensFloor mats are based on the SensFloor system and feature proximity sensors. Therefore, they are detecting a person before he puts any weight on the mat. They are able to send an alarm, as soon as a person is sitting on the bed and has his feet over the mat. Simultaneously, the alarm mat switches on an orientation light and therefore is able to prevent the patient from falling down in the dark.
The SensFloor system for private care consists of the SensFloor mat with a power supply and a transceiver, which is equipped with an additional radio extension, suitable to all ELDAT Easywave products. It is able to send an alarm via a mobile radio bell, which is installed within hearing range of the carer and simultaneously switches on the integrated orientation light for 7 min. Using the alarm button on the transceiver, the patient is also able to send an alarm and switch on the light. More combinations are possible by using a radio plug, a wrist alarm, a GSM dialer for sending an SMS, a hands-free telephone, and so on. All delivered radio components are preconfigured for plug and play!
The SensFloor mats are water-resistant sealed in PVC foils. Different surfaces are available: washable High-Twist Nylon pile in different colors with Velcro© tape fastened on the mat or easy-to-clean PVC surface in two different colors and suitable for use in hospitals.
