SensFloor® Mat
People, who suffer from dementia or are susceptible to falls, increase the workload on carers at home, in nursing homes and hospitals. Floor mats positioned beside the bed or at the door sense, when someone gets out of bed or leaves the room. SensFloor are able to determine, whether a person is getting into bed or getting up again and are even able to detect a fall. They can help prevent accidents by turning on lights, when someone gets up at night or by turning off dangerous appliances, such as stoves and irons, when the last person goes to bed or leaves the house. SensFloor uses wireless connectivity and can easily be installed without the need for additional cabling. Several SensFloor Mats and receivers/repeaters can be combined and used together. You can also expand your system later on. In nursing facilities, SensFloor mats can be connected to standard call systems or installed in parallel with bedside call buttons.
